Northeast Nudist Society (NNS) was founded in 1989 by a group of nudists who frequented Hillside Campground in northeastern Pennsylvania. This group included the camp owner and founder, Dave Braman. Dave believed strongly in having a space within Hillside that was specifically set aside for nudists. And thus, NNS was born. It started out as a very primitive site. Here is the original pavilion which was later added on to:

Over the years, the site has expanded – the pavilion became a three-tier building, tent platforms were added and rebuilt, Pebble Beach was created as overflow, an “outhouse” was built, and many other things were done to the site to bring it to where it is today:

We invite you to come join us and see what it’s all about! The best way to experience NNS is to come to Hillside for a weekend and stop up at NNS to check out the site and ask questions of members who are there.
