Membership FAQs

What is required to be a member of NNS?

Glad you asked! First and foremost, a member must be a nudist and therefore not afraid to shed their clothes while at the NNS site. Nudity is required at all times (weather permitting) while at the NNS site. Beyond that, there aren’t many other requirements. A membership application will need to be completed (online version coming soon), which requires signatures from 2 other members and 1 steering committee member. After your application is completed, you would pay the membership initiation fee of $70 via either Venmo or PayPal or by mailing a check to our PO Box. Annual renewal fee after your first season at NNS is currently $50 and is payable by the end of May each year to continue as a member. Payment details will be provided when you submit your application.

What does membership include?

Membership at NNS gives you access to our amazing pavilion, which includes a fully functioning kitchen, complete with 2 commercial stoves, 2 sinks with on-demand hot water, a commercial refrigerator and commercial freezer, an “always ready” coffeepot to brew a fresh pot of coffee (coffee, filters, sugar, etc. provided by NNS), a microwave, 2 gas grills, plus cups, glasses, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, measuring cups, knives, cutting boards, various spices and condiments – basically, everything you could possibly need in a kitchen to prepare a meal. It also provides a lounge and bath area, where there are 2 sinks and 2 showers – again, with on-demand hot water, so you won’t run out of hot water while showering. Lastly, it provides the opportunity to camp at the NNS site on one of our many tent platforms (available on a first come, first served basis). The tent platforms all have access to a power outlet for use primarily for CPAP machines (same electric usage rules that are in place for the rest of camp apply here as well – basically, no high powered appliances, etc. outside what the pavilion provides). There is also space available on “Pebble Beach” which is the flat area across the road from the pavilion area. There is no electricity available on Pebble Beach. We also have Wi-Fi available for all members to use on site which reaches to all the tent platforms and Pebble Beach.
