And not the ones that cover the forest floor at the beginning of the season, either! At the Memorial Day meeting, it was suggested that we maybe build a ramp instead of trying to build stairs to replace the sometimes treacherous stone steps between the pavilion level and the courtyard. So Dave took the idea and ran with it…and here’s our new ramp:
It’s not quite finished yet – a 2nd handrail still needs to be placed. But it is perfectly functional without the 2nd handrail. We also decided at the Memorial Day meeting to purchase a new stainless steel cabinet to replace the old wooden cabinet that is currently the coffee station. That arrived at camp today:
Sounds like a group of members at camp will help get it unpacked and set up sometime this week. Great things are definitely happening at NNS!
